Health and Safety Protocols
The following guidelines make up the IACP Meeting and Event Safety Protocols, which represent state and local mandated protocols in place during the event. Updates to the below are subject to change. Any changes will be posted and shared with registered attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, & vendors prior to the event.
Currently there is no requirement for proof of vaccine or negative COVID test.
Before Leaving Home:
- Follow relevant guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and/or your local health authority.
- Adhere to government issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be traveling to and the region from which you are traveling.
- Consider taking a COVID-19 test within 72-hours of your departure regardless of vaccination status.
- Stay home if you feel sick, test positive for COVID-19, are awaiting COVID-19 test results or have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.
On-site During the Event:
- Follow guidance from the local health authority for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses including:
- Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or an alcohol-based sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing. Throw used tissues in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Notify someone at registration at any time if you feel unwell or are experiencing flu-like symptoms.
I understand the above safety protocols are subject to change and the protocols in effect during the event will be shared and prominently posted at the event venue. I agree to adhere to the Safety Protocols in effect during the event.
